The Vertical Filter Housing Assembly (VFH) provides two element options to meet the requirements in the aviation fuel filtration industry:
- Coalescer / Separator: The coalescer / separator system consists of an element to generate a two-stage separation process. A coalescer / separator element that will be used to remove free water and fine solids, such as rust, dirt, and other contaminants from aviation fuel. The system is approved according to the EI 1581 6th edition specification. It can be mounted with the CS6-355-1 elements and with the MCS6-355-1 military element
- Microfilter A single stage element for removing fine solids down to one micron from aviation fuels. When contaminated fuel enters the container, fine solids are removed, providing clean fuel for engines or equipment. The microfilter is rated according to the EI 1590 3rd edition specification. Micron rating available: 1 and 5 μm. It can be mounted with the EIMF6.01C1-355 elements in both 1 and 5 microns.
