2 “Dirt Defense (DDO) filters are designed for the efficient and continuous removal of solids such as rust, sand and other particles from aviation fuels.
2 “FAUDI Aviation DDO filter elements are primarily used in mobile refueling filtration equipment in aircraft. FAUDI Aviation Dirt Defense filters are an economical and reliable alternative to filter monitor elements and their associated problem SAP * (Super Absorbent Polymer). They are specially designed to be retrofitted in containers of a filter monitor. The filter will be used together with an electronic water sensor The 1598, for example AFGUARD® in JET A1 fuel. For AVgas no the use of the AFGUARD® water detection sensor is required.
